Hi.
I have a TV that I would like to install in our camper, I would like to run it via the inverter using the leisure batteries.
(1600w/800w inverter)

We do not really run anything other than LED lights so I am wondering how long I would be able to power it for off grid.

(In the process of solar but not installed yet so will recharge when camping or at home)

Tv is LED 26" so slightly larger the standard 12v mini LCD tvs I see everywhere lol

Thanks in advance.

First thing is look on the rear of the TV and see how many watts it uses. Example say 48 watts.
Then divide the watts by 12 (battery voltage). So 48/12 = 4 amps. That's 4 amps per hour when in use.
Now an inverter will not be 100% effecient so add on 10% for loss. So now we are at 4.4amps.
If you have a 100amp Lead acid battery it's recommended never to go below 50% discharge. So you have 50 amps to play with.
50 / 4.4 = 11.3 hours as a very rough guide. 😁😁
This is just a basic. Calculation. Add in your own figures and allow for other power uses like lights, pump etc.

26 inch Tv is not a large TV for a motorhome nowadays and many at this size do run off 12 volt with a 240 volt adaptor, are you sure yours doesn't.
