We don't have that model van... but we wanted a bigger tv than our van catered for so we bought a tv bag ... specifically padded with straps inside .. wasn't too much and we stick the tv in that and put it on a bed when travelling

Thanks for the reply.
It’s fixed to a swivel arm but is supposed to be anchorable. Got me beat though!

Thanks , I’m hoping there’s a built in solution that I just aren’t seeing/understanding!

I always take mine off the bracket and put it in a laptop bag (laptop bags are really cheap on Amazon/ebay) It then sits in the same place as the table stowage.

Left on the wall - that’s my plan - but it swings around currently.

I have a strap of seatbelt material with a click in buckle goes round it that holds the TV back against the wall with the tilt and swivel bracket compressed works well and thats with quite a heavy unit :)

We have a Bessacarr E560 with a 26 inch TV/DVD and although bigger than the standard size it stays on it’s swivel, wall mounted bracket all of the time. It’s held in place by a bungee cord from the bracket to a small wall mounted hook on a stowage cupboard end.

So is there not an actual way of of stopping it swinging about? No knob that can turn to tighten up the movement or even a clip just to hold it in place? Seems odd.

Ours has a pull up pin on the bracket for when we use it. For travelling we fold it back to the wall and put the pin in place which holds everything tight. We can also undo a couple of grub screws and lift the TV off the bracket and lay it on the bed. We have an Elddis.

Either as has been suggested rig up a tether with straps or a bungee etc, an inexpensive solution or buy a lockable TV bracket. I have a Hymer version of the Novus Dahle SKY 10N-200 TV Wall Bracket which is lockable and now holds a 24” Panasonic TV firmly in place against the wall when travelling.

I thought we stored TV safely off the bracket. Stupidly I left the plug on the screen when I thought it was securely stored. Outcome was a cracked screen.
Now gave a nice padded case (and new TV)

Ours has a home all of its own and pulls down when we want to use it. Took us ages to find out where it fitted. Who would think you dropped a flap down and it’s hidding behind a cupboard. Trust the Italians to go one better.

Swift one used to move away from the wall when you braked so I used to put a strap round the mounting arm to stop it moving.

Pilote used to do something similar but that had a magnet on the bracket and was not as bad.

I think a Lot of these brackets have come from caravans and they don’t move around as much as we do.
