Just bought a new Goodmans TV recorder. The old one was full up, can you believe it.... 150 hours of old favourite programs and films that we never got round to watching, as we delete as we watch and retain others. Its ideal for the van so can watch them when in France or Spain. All that was needed was a scart lead and a supply through inverter as only rated at 10 watts. Should keep us amused on those rainy nights. We have bought a new one from Tesco Direct for ÂŁ89.00 with points as well. Hope this was a good tip for someone. Luvley Jubley

Hasn't got the best of reviews on the Tesco website and no HDMI input either which makes it a bit dated but if it does what you need then it's no bad buy.

Given the price..... we had our old one for a couple of years, I have read all the reviews as well, but it works well enough and not too high tech for us old ludites, better than having old DVDs everywhere
