TV problem (1 Viewer)

I have a Benima 201 15 reg not been used during lockdown, now the tv does not work in the van but indoor all ok , 12v at amplifier but no pics . Coaxial tested any ideas please!!

Does the TV fire up when turned on in the van... 12v or 230v?
Is the aerial pointing directly at the transmitter mast?

That happened to us, TV powered up but no picture, turns out there wasn't enough power getting to the TV through a faulty 12v plug in connection. Had to resolder a connection in 12v plug adaptor and all was OK.

Even when on 240 on the drive no pics

Where is the signal coming from? Does the TV power up?

12v and 240v both change channels but no signal

Does your TV have a signal strength/Quality button so you can check if you are getting a signal from the aerial

I know that here in the North West all the free view have had to be returned have you been able to do that.
Also check Ariel socket where coax goes from Tele into wall as mine had pushed back into a void behind socket.
Have you got a long coax to try and get a signal from house to van and returned.

Also if you have HDMI in maybe try a Fire Stick (if you have one) or DVD player just to check if that bits working although come to think of it just press the menu button and that should show if the TV is on or not and if its getting enough power for screen to work OK.

If working OK in house I would suspect signal strength first

Has it worked where you’ve parked it before,
We can’t get free view where we park ours due to the house being in the way of the transmitter.
