Does it HAVE to have a bracket?
I've had free standing TV's before and in transit laid face down on the seat with a luggage strap around the TV and cushion.

Would like to leave the tv permanently attached but its looking like that isn't going to be possible, never mind only a small compromise.

If you do wall mount it you really need access to the reverse side of the wall.
Furniture board really isn't strong enough to take the weight of a TV using screws. Bumps when driving will put additional stress on the fixings so ideally it needs nuts and bolts right through the wall with large washers on the back face to spread the weight.

Thats part of the problem the wall you would expect to put the mount on has the shower behind it so can't drill through to get enough support.
I'm toying with the idea of putting a square piece of board (1 foot or so)on the wall to spread the load and putting the mount on that.
I'll keep thinking some solution will appear.

Not the location you might want in your motorhome as you have a rear lounge but could try something like this Amazon product ASIN B00HRMZNCE that we
have used in our PVC on the passenger headrest posts

We had the same problem with not wanting to drill the bathroom wall.
Coupled with one of these Broken Link Removed so easy to pop tv on & off for travel but will leave bracket on when not using the passenger seats :)
Finlux tv is stored in hard sided Avtex case https://www.avtex.co.uk/accessories/cases

Thats got me thinking,I've been a bit transfixed on having the tv in the lounge but if i mount it in the front lounge (there's a wall I can use) I could swing it out on a long bracket.
Thanks wombles could be the solution
