Can anyone advise, i recall reading some time ago how it is possible to watch some channels in English even though they are being broadcast in Spanish. In particular its the Paramount channel i am interested in. I have a normal omni something or other Ariel but remember reading about a "code" to enter in the TV to switch to English. Yes i am in Spain.
TIA.

Most films & series that are either UK or American you can change the audio setting on your TV so you get the original sound track. Press sound on your remote you may have to go to the next menu level and you will see a language menu then select either English or QAA.

The Paramount channel seems to be all English lots of nice old films also a lot of rubbish, there is also DMAX which seems to get a lot of English stuff on it also a lot of rubbish as well,we are out here at present and there are several channels that have a variety of English programmes it’s just pot luck what is on.
We are receiving it on the vans built in tv aerial which is quite good.(y)(y)(y)

As you are using a computer to post you must have internet.
How do you get internet ? if you use a dongle, as we do, you should be able to pick up UK TV on your computer. We use a Vodafone UK sim which has been fine both in Spain & France.

I use “Icecript “ which picks up BBC ITV and a few others in English in Spain and Portugal.

Use a three data sim and streaming uses a lot of data we also have an Oyster sat dish with a Sky box so no problem with English TV (y)(y)(y)

All done, easy when you know how. Thank you.
Yes using Dongle but limited data and do not like watching TV on laptop.
Micky Rourke talking Spanish was ridiculous:D

Using "3" works out at about 12 hours for £40
12gb three data sim around £27 is valid for 12 months my sims last for ages as don’t stream telly on them.
At 1gb per hour those tv programmes are expensive to watch aren’t they.(y)(y)
