Hi all, we're attending our very first MH Fun meet at Avon Bank over Easter. Could anyone please advise us what type/length of aerial cable we need to connect to the site's system? We don't have an external aerial connection so it will have to go through the window and directly into the TV. Thanks in advance

We have never had the TV on at Avon Bank. (too busy running around with a soft handled brush inserted as the steward)
However, when we were in Spain over the winter I bought a commercially available aerial lead, just like you would need at Avon Bank.
Can't remember what each end had on it but no doubt, as an extension, it had a female connector at one end and male at the other.

Diggerdi You need two male coax plugs and some 75 ohm coax cable but if you don’t want to faff about I will bring you a extension lead, just remind me before the meet.

Emmit , ah we already have one of those that we use with our (useless) Avtex aerial. Don't know if it will be long enough though

If you're ordering coax you want WF100 spec, got ours on ebay. 25m for the site we go on 👍

Give me a nudge when you get there.
I'll see if I can get you near a post.
No promises though.

I dont know the site but the tv point is normally on the power post so wouldn’t expect you would need more than 25m of cable . Think thats about what ours is .

I got one of these, with relevant adapters, so the window can be closed onto the cable.

Amazon product ASIN B074M9PYTD
Same for us but a different brand.

However heads up for OP Diggerdi if you do go for one of these you will normally need a cable of whatever length to reach the bollard with a (usually) RF male plug on one end and a female "F" on the other. This gets connected to the flat cable linked to by Revolvor which goes through the seal of your window. You then need a shorter length of cable with the same connectors to connect to the flat cable and the TV input.

Just need a length of coax a couple of male / female connectors run it through a skylight all done.
Or do as i did and get an external point fitted.
Aerial , 12v , 240 volt all in one.
