TV 12v Power (1 Viewer)

I have recently purchased a MH that came with an Avtex TV. It is plugged into the normal UK 3 pin socket then a transformer thing then into the TV. How do I use it on a 12v supply only? Do I need another lead as it has only came with the lead explained above or would this one work?

You will need a 12V lead. The lead you have will only work on ehu.

Does the MH have an inverter fitted? If not the previous owner may have only watched it when van connected to mains hook up.
