Turning off signatures (1 Viewer)

How do I turn off people's signatures on my Android phone?

Some of them take up more than half the screen.

You ungrateful lot, Jim has just done a lot of work to make them visible on phones.
A lot of people now only use phones for browsing, a lot didn't realise you could only see the full post & signatures in landscape mode & it also highlighted the problem that lower res phone screens couldn't see them at all.
Without seeing the full post you are missing a lot of info that is there.

Nothing to do with not seeing the post. It's all the crap possibly useful info that some put in their signatures that's the problem, I've had them turned off for years.

I wish more people would put links to their tours as Lenny HB has done. I always find them interesting and quite often inspirational. Although to be fair Lenny's does take up more than half the screen now

I expect it is the resolution on your phone you might have to spend some shekels on a new phone.
Unless you have it turned off in preferences.

I had no idea.
I have just switched signatures to 'On'
As far as I'm aware I've never seen the signatures before

Slight correction to the instructions to switch Signatures on/off:

• Click on your ID (Top right)
• Click on 'Preferences' (left)
• A long list of options appears. Under 'Content Options'
• Select 'Show peoples signatures in their messages'
• Click 'Save' (Bottom)

Have to agree with Minxy, they're a pain in the a*** when viewing on a phone especially when the signatures are longer than the post/thread... I too turned them off years ago.

It's a shame they can't be viewed some easier way, some (like Lenny HB ) can be very useful.

Yeah I see now I have them switched off, and having switched them on again I now see why I switched them off.
It makes a lot of posts almost unreadable, can't fit one post on each screen.
