Just thinking about putting some 4inch waste pipe onto the bottom of my bike rack.
With screw on ends for access to them.
I know plumbers used to do it on top of their vans to store copper pipe.
But we're will I get the screw on ends.?
And do you foresee any problems.
Just going to be cheap rod's, so I can have a dangle when her indoors start's to do me head 🗣️ in.

from a builders merchants they are inspection hatches
I put a few self tappers in my end caps just to make sure the didn't come off. The pipe fits nicely in the bend at the bottom of the rack, I also used stainless large Jubilee clips to hold the pipe.

I've thought about doing the same must get on with it

Got these on ebay.

8' feeder rod, cheap reel, foldable landing net and handle, colapsable groundbait bowl few bits and bobs and away you go.

And it is a handy extension to your waste pipe.😉

When we had our PVC, we were stuck for storing the long poles for our Fiamma safari room, so I bolted a couple of lengths of black 4" underground soil pipe and capping's under our van across ways.
One stored the Fiamma poles and the other stored litre bottles of spare fluids, like engine oil, anti-freeze, loo fluid and the like.

Did the same sort of thing for the litre bottles on the bike rack of our present van, but as Tinker2 says, put a couple of self tappers to hold the push fitting to the soil pipe otherwise they will pop off as what in the pipe goes from side to side when cornering, and yes I do speak from expearance of finding that we had lost every thing that was stored in the pipe when we arrived at a site. :madder:

If you want to lose any friends, store your maggots in their fridge🤣.

Fixed a length of 4" soil pipe across the chassis at the back of our RV to store the 3" concertina waste pipe.
Put cross wires at one end and a single "pin" at the other to keep the hose in and let the residual water and the stink out.
