trying to get away, just started her up and although she started fine the glow plug warning light is flashing... manual says contact yr local dealer ...like they are around for weekend! the fact she started ok im thinking may just be a sensor thing... anybody else had this experience in past \ i have a carthago only 15mths old.. mm do i risk it and start on my 3hr trip?

What is the vehicle (base vehicle that is). On some a flashing glow plug light just means the DPF is burning off the soot.

Hopefully someone with the same base vehicle will know.

Most Carthagos are built on a Fiat chassis.

If the OP hasn't used the vehicle for a while, it probably just needs a good thrashing (once it's warmed up to operating temperature) using all the gears up to 3/4 thousand revs.

Then, if that doesn't cure it, best to visit a Fiat garage since it's still under warranty.
