We have the Trumatic S 3002 P in our van.

Today I decided to fit the front on correctly (it's been loose and rattling around since we've had the van).

Watched a youtube clip on the 3002 model and it shows how the front clips on and off. (Locate the lower cut outs over the lugs on the surround, push the top onto the spring clips).

When I removed the cover, there were 3 screws pulling the top into the heat shield.

If I put the cover on correctly, the gas knob sits up far to high (ee pic).

If I fix it back to the heat shield with the screws, the knob is correct but the bottom flaps around as it will no longer lock on the lugs.

Could it be that I have either the incorrect front cover or the inner surround with the spring and lugs on is wrong?

Any ideas folks?

I've refitted it using the screws but the bottom is away from the edge enough for me to slide a finger behind without disturbing the front cover.
