This is a new piece of kit in my IH, it allows you to set the percentage charge that goes to your vehicle and leisure battery, as I understand it. Currently set at 50/50. Previously I've had a battery master fitted to keep the vehicle battery healthy in storage, does this mean I don't need this now and that the Truma will do it?

Advice gratefully received!

Thanks Bill

I installed one of these dual battery solar regulators last year. In Australia they are marketed under the 'Redarc' brand. I have mine set to deliver 90% of the supply from our 600 watt solar panels (at 24v) to the AGM leisure batteries and 10% to the AGM starting batteries. I have also installed the optional remote display and battery temperature sensor. I think this solar regulator works well with respect to simultaneously charging both battery banks.
