Hi
Can anyone help my Dad with his heating please? It works in gas but not on electric. He's quite handy and has tried a few things but no joy. Has anyone else has similar problems?
Thanks in advance
Lynne

Probably a blown heating element.
If it's getting power as far as the element it's certain to be the problem.
It works the same as an immersion heater at home or even a basic kettle.

If he can use a multimeter set to OHMS/CONTINUITY then turn off and disconnect the wires to the element and put the meter probes on the element terminals...no reading means open circuit (blown)
