I wonder if anyone can help me. We are spending Christmas in a field in our new BESSACARR. Yesterday everything was working well then everything switched off and the panel went blank. Books only talk about error messages but there is nothing on mine. It has not worked all day. Tonight it came on we set temp etc for heating and within 5 mins it went off and is now blank again. Can anyone advise we have tried resetting the boiler but to no avail.

Do you have a main distribution panel for 12v and 240v - perhaps one of the fuses or breakers has popped.

Are you in a field without any EHU, if so then you may have run out of battery power.

If you're in a field it likely your habitation battery is flat

Not flat battery. It came on once earlier tonight and after a few minutes went off again so not a fuse. Wondered about boiler overheating?

Was going to suggest if it was a voltage issue, you try running your engine and putting your heating on at the same time, but just checked your profile and I don't think a Bessacar will let you do that :(

Sounds like its a panel fault, low voltage would give an error cidecand over van electrics are working.
Worth unpluging the CP Plus to see if it resets. Plull the control knob off there isxa screw under it unscew it then you can release the panel and unplug the power lead.

Are you on an electric hook up? Do you have any other means of charging your batteries, such as a solar panel. If the answer to both of those are "no" then I agree with others who say your batteries are getting flat. Truma heating is very susceptible to that problem, and is likely to switch off whilst your lights don't. You say the voltage is OK but do not say what it is. Remember that once a 12V battery is showing 12V then it is almost fully discharged.

Sadly Bessie's don't have a B2B charger.
