Hi all , any help will be much appreciated. I have an 18 month old Hymer A Class . Up until a month ago the trauma boiler worked perfectly . Now when I select “boost” for the hot water to get enough hot water for 2 showers the boiler always trips out with fault code 632 . Thankfully I found a post on this site where the overheat rest switch is located . Pressing the switch with a pen resets the boiler after it has cooled right down . This can take some time so it’s very inconvenient . Is this a trip back to the dealer ? Or am I doing something wrong. If so does anyone know what they will need to do to the boiler ? Thanks in anticipation.

It trips out on both , also trips out on just gas or just electric . My assumption is that the “boost” thermostat is not working so the boiler keeps on heating until the overheat trip triggers. ?

Sorry can't help beyond agreeing with your working hypothesis. I suspect a trip to the dealer is required.

sparkyvanman Go to this link and contact Truma. As if you go to dealer they will probably only put you onto them.

Can recommend talking to Truma direct. They know there product and have the facilities to test it properly. I ended up with a service replacement that cost me quite a bit but I was out of warranty.

My Truma Is covered by a two year warranty. Probably the high temp control has gone us. Best left to a Truma dealer. For now just put the heater on hot fit a slower flow shower head such as a water saver one.

Would assume that presumption to be correct. As an interim till discussing with the dealer, space the showers by 1/2. Have not used boost setting as that's our normal usage given previous vans didn't have that function.

Absolute beginners.
2020? Probably sorted but hasn't come back to advise the forum of the fix required unfortunately.
I'd go with a faulty sensor for the "boost", generally they work without issue.
