Must be new... did google search and all I could see ( admittedly just off night shift so might not be in full function mode) was the inet plus..not +
Inet plus been around for ages.
Edit as I said night shift ... Will try again, just reread your post and you say inet × not inet +.
Sorry.

Sorry tried again and can't find an "inet ×".
All I can find is CP Plus control panel.
Maybe I should just go to bed and let someone in the know post.. 😎😎
Ok found it.. looks good.

The 'old'/current inet boxes will gradually lose their remote capability as 2G is switched off over the next few years.

I'm happy to stick with it until that happens.

I just looked at it but can’t see any benefit in upgrading for me.

I spoke to Truma today at the NEC and the inet X at the moment is bluetooth only, hoping to develop a WiFi version by end of the year. I don’t see any benefit in updating so will be keeping the CP plus .

When I spoke to a Truma engineer at Caravan Salon he said production of the CP Plus control panel would end at the end of 2021 to be replaced by the iNet X Panel. The benefit of the X is that it can incorporate other functions than the Truma boiler (lights, clean and waste water level etc..) and that more can be added. That means it can replace the main control panel of the motorhome as a all in one panel.

Any prices yet?
Looks like its very basic in its current roll out mode, with further updates possible in future.
I wonder if it would control a Chinese diesel heater remotely?:whistle2::imoutahere:

All the new roller teams at the show have it as the main hab control. And a few other makes .

Were they also fitted with Truma Diesel heaters, if not why not I would ask, as pumped LPG stations are already becoming much harder to find in some areas.
Thanks for any info.

That's interesting. The very first vans to have them fitted were the Weinsberg Pepper editions. I think they were the only one who had them at Düsseldorf CS.

Was told on the truma stand price for the new i net X panel to upgrade was ,£299 and there was some mumbling s between staff about 25% off show price. .

I really like the look of this - will we were thinking of getting an iNet box but I think we'll hold off until this one is available. I just hope it can be retrofitted to our system: we have a Combi 6E but this page on the Truma website seems to suggest its only compatible with 2018 models onwards :(

Hi,

I have attempted an upgrade to the new iNet X Control Panel and have been running into issues and finding it difficult to get support on the issues I have.

I am having some issues with the upgrading of my existing Truma CP+ Control Panel to the new Truma i Net X COntrol PAnel.

The existing Control Panel that I am replacing is a Truma CP Plus with the CI Bus port and it has two cables wired one to the TIN Bus connected to the Truma Combi 4E unit and one to the CI Bus that runs to the Sargent EC620.

The TIN Bus is straight forward but the CI BUS plug is different on the new Inet X unit on board connectors. I need to know what wires to use on the cable and what goes where on the CI-Bus circuit board side connector. Also I cannot find anywhere in South Africa connectors that will work with the iNet X panel.

The installation instructions also refers to the fact that the temperature sensors need to be directly connected to iNet X unit itself.

Again I would need the correct pin-out so that I connect the unit correctly. Again I would need the correct connectors to connect to the board.

Only the power cable was supplied with the correct connectors and no other connectors was supplied.

I need to know if you can supply me the connectors as well as the PIN-out information so that I can connect the CI-BUS as well as the two temperature sensors.

Make sure of compatibility before you make the plunge!!
