Truma Heating on Diesel Noise (1 Viewer)

Hi, just back from another weekend of trying out the systems on the new Chausson 718. Tried the Truma heating on diesel which worked fine but there was a constant knocking noise from the front of the van. Before I call the dealer just wanted to check if it's normal - hope not! We found generally on all different power settings that it takes a long time to get up to heat. Is this normal? Thanks all.

Yes its the diesel dosing pump

We had eberspacher , the dosing pump made a clicking noise which was fairly muted. The pump had a rubber band under the clamp which it was mounted to the chassis with. Does yours have this rubber?
