We have friends who we will be meeting at southport on Friday . They have rung to say they can not get the gas heating to work . The van is 2007 auto trail and has truma blow air heating. All they get when trying it is red light on control after about 10 secs. Gas is on and regulator appears fine as Fridge and cooker work ok. Is there a reset anywhere ?

They got the van 4 months ago but only used electric side of the heating till now.

Any other ideas? It's cold up there.

Is there an outside cover on the gas vent for the heater, if there is it needs to be removed.

It does have a reset button... normally round the back of the boiler under a small slidey panel.
Inside the box at the front is the pcb... there are two fuses there that can blow.
(Take appropriate precautions s and disconnect before checking)
The red light means gas isn't working..
It could be the circulation fan that's failed ... also.. check all outlet pipes are connected to boiler.
Also .. make sure there isn't a isolating switch for gas to boiler.

In that case take it to a dealer or mobile repairer or call Truma tbh

Since 2008 & many years tugging
Even though the fridge & hob work it could still be the regulator, the heater requires a much higher gas flow.

More than toes wet now!
As @sdc77 says there are individual isolating valves for all the gas appliances, fridge, cooker, heating and external gas point (if fitted). Worth a look to see if they're all on.
