Hi All
I'm wondering if there's a techie out there with an insight into a problem I have with my Truma Combi 4E (CBE 403-18311573) fitted to my 2008 campervan.

Approx 5 mins after operating the heater switches to failure and the red LED is lit.
When reset it will continue to fail.
This only happens when using gas, it works fine on EHU.
The water heater will work independently whether on gas or EHU but not when combined with the heating.
I have looked at the possible causes on the trouble-shooting list.
There is water in boiler.
No hot air outlets are blocked.
The recirculated air intake is clear.
Regulator not iced up.
Using Propane.
Had the P.C.B. swapped out last year but the problem still persists, anyone else had a similar problem and able to get it fixed?
Any advice or suggestions would be welcome, Thanks.:thumb:

Can't remember ;)
Hi willygeddit it sounds to me like a exhaust problem - are you sure the air intake is at least 6 /8 ins away from exhaust ?
You can always try ringing truma at derby :thumb:very helpful

Thanks for your reply Terry, not sure exactly what you mean though.

Took cover off P.C.B. and found a green light on steady and flashing red light.

Disconnected live feed and re-connected after a few minutes, then had 2 green lights and 1 red all on steady, fired it up and the bugger now works okay.

Still don't know what's causing the problem but at least I know how to cure it (temporarily anyway):thumb:
