Hi. Can anyone advise on error code E508H.
Tried to turn HOT water on today and this keeps coming up. Been away 2 weeks using hook ups but now on gas with no electric!
TIA. 👍

I think this is the fault code that some friends had with their pilote & the boiler reset worked, I remember the button is a brown, small, flimsy looking thing so go easy with it, good luck.

I don't know if that's correct, but I had a look for you at least.

Could be your gas regulator gummed up, hob & fridge will work but with the high demand of the heater the flow rate will be too low.

the 500 series of error codes appear to be related to the gas supply. Can't find 508 though. Daft Question Have you got the gas supply valve turned on?
Yes gas running fridge and hob oven etc.

Running gaslow system on LPG. Don't think it's regulator as direct feed.

I think we had this one once, not 100% though. Turned out to be the gas bottle was running low. There was still enough to sort the fridge and the cooker but not enough to kick the Truma into life.
Good luck, hope you get sorted. 👍

Can't find this code in my lists either. Would contact Truma but no service weekends!😳🙄

Turn the truma off,

Use the 12v master switch to take all power off

Turn power back on

Turn Truma on

It will work (y)

Thanks but tried that twice. No joy! Frustrated now. 😡

Not sure if this is any help. Because of gas bottle shortage I work with one propane and one butane. The boiler will not fire up on butane no matter how many times I reset and gives a 500 code every time. Whereas on propane fires up first time. So all I do is start on propane and switch to butane once it has been going for a minute or so. Obviously if you are on gallows this should not happen . I think newer truma boilers are quite sensitive.

Have you access to the boiler? IF yes, have you tried a reset?
WITH the fault present in programme, tap the rotary button once, then tap the back button, you should now be able to to press the reset button on the boiler, and hear the boiler click through it's pre- light checks. You can see the button below the RTS and cables.Mike.

We got an error code E507H a couple of months ago. It was after running the heater on gas then moving sites and plugging in EHU. Hadn't changed the fuel type from gas to electric on the Truma panel so this must have freaked out the control system. The LED on the board was flashing red. Checked on youtube for a solution - needed to press down the button as described in post above. Hold the button down for 5 seconds until the LED turns orange. Used the end of a plastic pen to push the button so I didn't accidentally touch anything live. This worked for us - hope it works for you.

Solution
Thanks to everyone for their responses and advice.
Cotacted Truma technical this morning and talked me through a Hard Reset as mentioned by some above.
Sorted the problem immediately.
Live and learn! 😉
