I'm forever pressing the green button on my Truma crash sensor to get the gas to flow for a few seconds or hours.
If I remove or bypass the crash sensor am I just moving the problem elsewhere or will it be a permanent fix?
I'm aware I'd have to keep turning gas bottles on and off if not using the sensor
Thanks

I replaced mine with a completely new regulator of the non crash type, as they have a tenancy to fail.
Just make sure your new regulator is above the bottles so any lubrication in the gas drains back to the bottle.
Filters are available to help prevent the gunk in the gas getting at the regulator.

Had two Truma crash sensor regulators fail. So now have a Campagna and a Truma filter and, touch wood, no further failures.

I think I there’s something wrong with your reg. I’ve had to reset mine twice in 6 yrs and that was after a hellish pothole each time.

Never had to reset mine over the last two vans it would be nearly 8 years.

After some fill ups our gas continually stops. I can press the green reset button several times an hour

That’s no good. Probably worth trying a new one if you have use for the ‘in transit’ function.

Had mine replaced under warranty by dealership.
Truma crash sensor green button was not activated by them correctly (in my opinion) it actually requires pushing in a fair way to reset.

All the best
