Good evening. I am facing a malfunction on my unit. It is a Combi 6 (2007) with hot air and boiler with the use of gas only.
The hot water is working, on both 40C and 60C. The hot air is working on scales 1, 2 and 3.
However, when i turn the knob on 4 or 5, the boiler starts and after 5 seconds stops and the red light on the control knob lights on.
The red led, o the boiler's panel, flash as follow:
LLssLsLs

As per manual this seems to be error #202#

I have used both butane and propane, but without positive results.

I leave in Greece and nobody seems to know what is wrong.

Thank you in advance.

Hopefully, this thread may help you get your issue sorted. Maybe a reset is what’s required.

My reading of the of list of Truma fault codes suggests ‘Faulty power supply earth connection’
I understand this. But the thing how i will repair this. Keep in mind that the unit is working on the other scales 1,2,3. The problem comes oly on the setting point 4 and 5

Thank you for this. However, i have done this also

Truma combi red flashing light low voltage, red fixed gas fault. How old is your regulator?

nikki a The Truma Flash code seems to indicate (as Ingwe said) Flame not detected (error may only occur after 3-5 minutes) or poor earth or battery earth to the minus terminal Combi defective. Truma list of things to check are - check gas supply ,( faulty regulator ? as Bessy765 has mentioned ) and check flue system , also check earth connections.
This is according to the Truma list of flash codes Combi 4 (E) / 6 (E) created on 02-08-2010

Thank you all for this. The thing that i do not understand is why the hot water working normally and the hot air also. The problem is detected only on the setting 4 and 5. If there was any problem with the system, i guess they would work at all.

All the parts are from 2008 when i first bought the unit.

The only thing i assume is the solenoid valve. When you demand more heat (setting 4 and 5), the solenoid valve for the gas is not opening more in order to supply more gas. I can replace it, however it is just a guess and it cost around 250 euro. Thus i want to be 100% sure before replacing it.

Regarding the earth that it was mentioned above, how and where can i check it.

I really want to thank you all for your help.

Buy or swap (temporally) another gas valve, especially if yours is original. The boiler will require more gas to run at full power. You mention solenoid and a high price so makes me think you are talking about something different to the regulator.

A faulty gas bottle regulator could also cause reduced gas pressure , try lighting the cooker and see if the Combi still works the same on its heating settings or if it is worse. The 12v earth (negative) connection is under the wiring cover on the Combi , it should be marked12v - and you need to check it is clean and tight and ,if possible , that it is actually going back to a good earth/negative connection.

When set to 4 or 5 the fan will probably be trying to run at full speed drawing around 6 amps.
If your battery is a bit low or getting tired combined with the volt drop across the cable it may be tripping out due to low voltage.

Basic setting on a combi red light on fixed lack of gas flashing red low 12 volt power, although your combi is gas only does the fault occur when on ehu so batteries are fully charged? Have you tried lighting the hob rings then start the heater on 3 let it run for a bit, turn up to 4 see what happens the 5. If the flame drops on the burners you may have a faulty regulator.
