Hi I have a 2008 Swift Kontiki with Truma combi 5E fitted. I upgraded to the CP plus panel a couple of years ago and its worked well.

I now have error 25H which suggests 12v feed is not working to heater.

However combi 5e works for hot water on gas but not blown air heating (either gas or electric)

So would the combi work for hot water if there was no 12v supply present ?

Any ideas before I book a truma engineer ?

Sounds like the blown air heating fan is playing up, a not unheard of situation with older vans. Check the fan is free to spin (the sintered bearings can fail on them) and isn't clogged up with dust.

Ok thanks will try and get replacement fan as now you mention it the bearings did sound a bit different last time it was used. I expected a specific fault code for the blown motor to fail!!

Largejj Are you sure it is error 25H not 255H as error 255H = Heater has no 12v power supply or No connection between heater and control panel so if it is 255H it could be worth checking the 12v fuse on the combi that is under the wiring cover and also the connections at each end of the wiring link and the continuity of the wiring itself between the combi and the control panel.
The flash code on the original PCB (Pre CP plus) gives fault 25 = current for warm air motor too low.

Hi it’s definitely 25H - exact message is below. I wonder if 25H is a specific code for 12v air blower fan?

Sorry, there is error 25H: Please contact Truma Service

25H is definitely an issue with circulation fan. Does anyone know how easy they are to change out ?

You could check the flash code on your combi which is under the wiring cover to confirm the fault is 25 (fan). You could also try pressing the reset button that is next to the flashing fault code LED . The fault 25H is used with the later CP plus display and may have other faults added so it could be worth a call to Truma to confirm it is only a fan fault . The details for striping down a Truma Combi are in the Resources section on the top line of this page.

The blown air fan is right at the back of the Truma Combi 4e boiler under the sink in my Kon Tiki so think its going to be a big job to remove the boiler and inspect/replace the fan. At least hot water works for the Bank Holiday weekend!
