Hi , Got a fault with my combi 4e. it works on 240v both water & heating but wont fire up on gas,it goes through the motions,, fan kicks in etc but NO igniting sound, then a small clonk( similar to a shuttle valve/solenoid) then it switches off. the red flashing light on the truma reads :- slll ssss fault code 0112.
has anyone had this fault on theirs & what was the fix ?
By the way the fridge & cooker work on gas & the gas bottle is full.
thanks guys
Kev

Fault No.: 0112
Flashing code: slll ssss
Fault description: - Flame out or not recognised
- Faulty power supply earth connection
1. Action: Ensure gas supply with correct operating pressure
2. Action: Ensure power supply earth connection
3. Action: - Check exhaust system
- Check / replace solenoid valve
- Check / replace ignitor
- Check / replace ignition electrode kit

Not sure this helps.

I would try using a different regulator to see if that is the problem, they do fail.
I've had the fridge & all the hob/grill/oven on at the same time so i think plenty gas coming through the regulator,

Ring Truma technical tomorrow. They are really helpful

@ kevntrace. We also had EVERYTHING ELSE WORKING ON GAS AT THE SAME TIME. BUT NO HEATING
Yes it was a 4E we had to come home from Chester as too cold in van. Changed the Regulator and cured the problem the best bit was it was under warranty at the time. You would think that because everything else will burn that the heating should but it takes more gas pressure / volume of gas than the other stuff.

Thanks Late Starting.
I'm going to get a new regulator today & try it. Fingers crossed. Thanks everyone for your response.

kevntrace, I got a replacement regulator from Autogas 2000 near Thirsk for around £25, a Truma one was nearer £90. Granted, mine isn't a secumotion unit or anything fancy, but I wasn't gonna buy another Truma one, based on the failures you hear online.

A new ignitor block after months of trying all the other things resolved the 112 error for us.

Just an update,
went outside tonight & out of curiosity gave the regulator a tap with a toffee hammer,,, hey presto, the heater burst into life .looks like its a faulty truma regulator which is only about 15 months old.New one ordered & will fit at the weekend.
thanks for all your input guys ?
