hi guys when put heating on heat only the water started getting hot any ideas regards steve

It does, on heat it prioritises heating but water gets hot as a by product but not as quickly .
Interestingly our red & orange lights are the other way round.

It is just the way they are built, there is not enough room in the unit to keep the two functions separate.

DP+JAY. What happens if you put the air heating on with no water in the pump/tank does the heating work. Just no hot water? I think I have the same system as you.

Yes, that's correct.
