Hi All, many threads have recommended removing the room temperature sensor to troubleshoot whether this is the fault when a Truma boiler fails to fire-up. This is generally sound advice, however, I was chatting to Andy Bottle, proprietor of Magic Motorhome Man (yes that's his business name and I thoroughly recommend him for any non-engine repairs if your near Portsmouth) and he explained that this only applies to older models like my 2008 Hymer, if you try it on newer models, whilst it won't harm it, it would cause it's own error code/light and probably fail to start for that reason. Hope that proves useful to someone.
