We have an issue with the heating in our van. It is a Truma 4E unit with a CP Plus controller fitted in our 2020 Adria Twin 640 SLB. There is no error message reported on the controller but the unit does not seem to be working properly. Everything was working OK before our latest night away last week
When air or water heating is turned on, the unit fires up but then after a short period it cuts out again. After a short delay, there is the double click and it fires up again. This keeps happening and for the air heating with low external temperatures it took much longer than usual to get up to temperature inside the van because of the intermittent operation. The problem occurs with both electric or gas and for air or water heating.
Even though there is no error reported I have tried a hard reset on the boiler unit but this hasn't sorted it. The controller shows the flashing symbol for heating or water when selected as you would expect. The fan seems to be working as expected. The leisure battery is fully charged and good voltage.
Any ideas?
