Hi, we have an Autotrail Cherokee frtom 2013, and which I had fitted a new regulator in 2018, Recently I could not get the Truma 4E to operate on gas. having looked over the internet for many hours, I found a solution that fitted my problen and that I liked, which just used a toffee hammer on the regulator to get things working again. I also tried a hammer, although much bigger than a toffee hammer, but it certainly worked, with the heater starting as soon as I switched it on.
We almost always use 240v hookup and mostly it takes a quite a while playing with the rotary and function control switches, checking fuses and supply switches, to get the heating and hot water system working correctly, but once running it will be ok until we disconnect. whereupon we will have a similar problem at the next site. Now I can add a hammer blow to the startup procedure. Fingers crossed for next week. I shall also order a new regulator.
