I would greatly appreciate members opinion/experience on a gas problem with which I'm faced. I have a Truma 4E Combi boiler connected to Calor 6kg Propane cylinder(red) via a bulkhead regulator (30mbar). This matches the required gas pressure of 30 mbar for the Truma boiler.
Here is my problem - Calor Ireland inform me that they plan to withdraw this cylinder (from the Irish stockists) at the end of the year. My options - in order that I don't have to make a larger gas press I was thinking of switching to the Calor 6kg Propane patio heater gas cylinder. This would mean changing my regulator to the Patio cylinder one which gives an outlet pressure of 37mbar. A contact warned me that if I do that I might encounter a problem with the operation of the Truma boiler - possibly shut down and threw up an error code on the controller.
Did anyone ever experience this scenario? Thanks in advance for opinions offered.

Gaslow sell cylinder adapters, you can get one for the Patio Gas, then you just connect that with a hose, which they also sell, to your bulkhead regulator. Quite likely Autogas 2000 sell them too, but I haven't looked.

Whitebirdyman Thanks for your advice, I'll head off to source one of those adaptors (y)

cyberyacht, thanks for your great suggestion - rip-off Calor prices for sure: €24 for refill of 6 kg propane over here.
