This Sunday and BH Monday Never been before, but me and Siân are going to be exhibiting our Tyre Pressure Monitors there. (The manufacturer will be with us demonstrating the new RF version so that you get a warning in the cab as well as at the tyre. :thumb:)

I notice that there is a big CC rally there, never thought of rallying there before, it looks like it could be good fun, any of you been before? While Peterboro motorhome show gets 10,000 visitors the truckfest allegedly gets over 100,000, so we are looking forward to it. Look us up if your going, we'll fly a fun flag and no doubt have a kettle on constant:thumb:

No we haven't been to the show and irrelevent to the OP but a funny story, well sort of:

We have a friend who ran a mobile catering unit in a previous life and he was asked to provide a service for the exhibitors at the Truckfest which involved a free breakfast for the commercial boys before the show in return for a free pitch and catering rights to the public. He would make a fortune! :roflmto:

We took our caravan over for them to spend the weekend in which is where we got involved. Going back on the Monday to collect the van poor Brian and wife and daughter were exhausted and broke. Somehow the voucher system got abused and, hard worker though he was but never a businessman, they were flooded with hundreds of hungry, hairy-arsed blokes all ordering their free breakfasts. :Eeek:
The organisers denied all responsibility and they were left with no stock and no money and no opportunity to replace it.

I often ask Brian if he's going back but I can't repeat his reply outside the Belly Locker. :roflmto:

Yes Ed and I camped there 4 years ago in the general camping area.

The art work on the Trucks was amazing we loved the show.

We did not love the fact that you were squashed together and no one had any respect for your privacy and your van could be used as a goal post.

Being used to motorhome shows could not believe the rubbish that was just thrown on the ground everywhere.

The show its self is well worth a visit if you enjoy vehicles etc
The pride the truckers have in those trucks is unbelievable.

Camping with Fun could tempt us back but to go into the general area again would be a no

Good luck with your flashy things anything like that should do well, loads of interesting stalls there.

Yes but dangerous, with predictable input you can't always check what you've unintentionally written.
