Hi All,

We are planning our trip for next year. We would really appreciate any advice ref routes, ferries, places to stay etc. Or any tips from people who have done the journey or parts of it.

In outline we will head through France in the second half of March, taking a couple of weeks to get to Nice. From there we'll take the ferry to Corsica for 2/3 weeks, then onto Sardinia for a similar period. Another ferry to Sicily and then cross southern Italy to Bari to take the ship to Dubrovnik and then spend several weeks travelling north.

We are in an Autosleeper Nueveo with a scooter on the back which is less than 6m long.

Any help would be really appreciated

France can be very cold in March. And wet, depending on where you are.

You'll be travelling down more East side to Central, rather than on the West coast ? Remember that any winds coming from the East can be cold.

BUT, warm clothes, pair of boots and you have stunning scenery to walk or cycle in.

Just be prepared with warm duvets and warm clothes.

;) Thanks, we'll keep an eye on the forecast and maybe delay our departure if it's too bad. The gortex jackets and boots will be on the packing list. We will also make sure we have a couple of heating options, so as not to get caught out.
