Off tomorrow for a couple of nights away to get to grips with the newly aquired Auto-trail . First trip for caravanners tempted to the "dark side "

In at the deepend ..but a good way to see what we need and what we dont .

Bikes in garage
Panniers and bike stuff
Windbreak
Outside cooking stuff
Gas
Tools
Hoses
chairs and outside tables
outside carpet
Books
Pots and Pans
Cutlery and bits
lighter
food
Camera
tom tom
telephone
bedding
Clothes
Chemicals
toiletries
Toilet paper
Drugs ( legal)
Notepad with key telephone numbers
laptop

Well the point of the trip is to make some mistakes
before we go away for longer next week.......and Im sure we will

Staying on a CC site for a couple of nights.....Im confident we will survive :)

but I have the dreaded feeling Ive forgotten something.

..where's the wife ??? :)

With us, it seems compulsory to forget something every trip. And as for things you don't need..........well we seem to take a lot of them with us!

But nobody ever died from forgetting the washing up liquid, did they?

Personally I wouldn't worry one jot what you forget...

On our first time out the list got longer and longer as we pulled further away from home, we were that excited. This did include cutlery...lol

Just have a great time because thats what its all about:thumb::thumb:

LOL - I went to France last year sans knickers. There were a couple of pairs already in the van but we had blooming hysterics in the supermarket buying me new drawers.

Why was this funny?

We were in Agde .........

On behalf of my lady wife (sedge) I can tell Joy that she got rid of her musquash coat just after she gave up flashing naked volleyball players as it got no response!! LOL

To jhorsf - I assume you meant places where one wears ones birthday suit? well the answer to that is frequently LOL

Regards to all her readers

Levelling blocks - makes for a good nights sleep, fridge needs to be level and cooking a fryup helps if the van is level.

Enjoy it, whatever you leave behind, you'll manage without it, but won't forget it next time - have a laugh.
