Treasure Hunt (1 Viewer)

Hello all Funsters
We have decided to set up treasure hunt.

( I will get the first one going)
These 'rules' are likely to evolve, but to get things started this is my first punt.

1. Someone (anyone) will plant an item for others to find
2. Clues of the location will be posted in a new thread within this section, the clues can be as specific or vague as you feel necessary to keep people interested. Clues may include photographs if one finds it within a reasonable time then further clues will be given.
3. Hunters will post here letting us know they are out looking
4. When the item is found the person who finds it is obliged to photograph their gormless mug (and bike) at the scene
5. Ideally the finder will then move the item somewhere else and away we go again. Each time the treasure is planted a new thread should be started, with a title something like 'Treasure left North West England'.

Isn't there something like that already on the go, think its called geo caching or something like that my daughter and grand kids do it

It would be good at a meet, but otherwise a bit doubtful if anyone would be near it because we are thin on the ground.
