Now I know why we have a motorhome!!!As I was judging at a major horse show down in sussex I booked at room at theTravelodge at Hickstead just by the showground.
BIG MISTAKE!!!! Filthy room could hardly see out of windows they were so dirty.....bathroom ughhhhhhh!!!! Dust inches thick under bed.
Staff totally disinterested. I have taken photos and emailed them with a complaint but won't hold my breath for a reply.
Would have gone down in van and stayed on showground but for various reasons it wasn't possible.
Travelodge nevvvvvvvvvvver again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:Angry:

No other rooms available as booked up for the Royal International Horses show.

Could just be a problem withg that Travellodge. I have stayed at quite a few while working and have always found them very good.

I've stayed in quite a few in the past myself travelling about to Horse shows throughout the country but have NEVER had one as dire as this one was. so maybe it is an isolated case.
I have taken ShiftZZ 's advice and emailed the ceo on the email he linked me to.
Let's see if I get a reply from him.

Thanks to ShiftZZ giving me Travelodge's CEO's email within 24 hrs of contacting him I have been given a full refund and appology for the state of the room. The hotel has been repremanded and told to resolve housekeeping issues.
IT PAYS TO GO DIRECTLY TO THE TOP!!!
