Hi everyone just thought this might be useful if travelling to Sweden we have only just found out and are leavin Denmark via Fredrikshavn-Gothenburg ferry on Wednesday morning.
There is a levy charged on all vehicles in and around Gothenburge and Stockholm and as fas as I can see a few other places. It is charged automatically through ANPR and if you don't have an account set up it sends the bill to your home adress late payments are penalised.
To set up account it's very easy at www.Epass24.com charge rates are variable depending on time of day max charge per vehicle per day is 60 SEK but you probably would only pay 9SEK travelling between 08.30-14.00hrs.
All info on website.
This is not an emissions charge that's a separate thing.

congestion charge? in sweden? are there enough people?
It's only the main cities I think if you read up on it the idea is to use the money for better roads infrastructure.
