Travelling to Spain 🇪🇸

We are travelling Santander to Benidorm 10 January 2022.
We have in the past driven to Soria..Calatayud..Calamocha…all the way down A23 to Sagunto then all the way down the eastern coast.
Any body got ideas and experience of alternatives.??
Possibly
Soria…Cuenca…Albacete…Benidorm??
Must stay places enroute??

I wouldn't be hanging around in the mountains at that time of year.
We will go the Bilbao, Logroño, Zaragoza, Valencia route as quickly as possible.
