I think it may depend on how long you spend in France, and each respective countries entry requirements, fairly sure from France to Italy no tests required, don't know about Croatia though, all part of the EU maybe no tests are reqd for all, but don't take my word for it.I was rather hoping to get a reply about whether i need a test for covid or if my jabs will be good. Ive been to italy a few times and dont remember it that bad exept for back roads
Don't know what roads you used to pompeii, when we went it was fine, we used the toll motorway all the way down, no problems at all, roads very good.We went south to pompei. Never again.
You might be ok just going across the top. I suppose there'll be signs up at the border about testing ect.
I m also of the understanding that Croatia is free for us to enter.I think it may depend on how long you spend in France, and each respective countries entry requirements, fairly sure from France to Italy no tests required, don't know about Croatia though, all part of the EU maybe no tests are reqd for all, but don't take my word for it.
I don't either now, was a few years ago, we try and stay off tolls if possible.Don't know what roads you used to pompeii, when we went it was fine

We were in Italy last year & the year before & I have to say compared to the pot holed damaged roads in the U.K. it was fine! Drivers no worse than the lunatics going down our A1, M3 & M25 & they don’t have roadworks every 5 miles! I went in plenty of Italian supermarkets & did not come across these aggressive Italians you talk about either. We loved Italy, been to a few of the Lakes, Venice, Piza & then right down the eastern coastal road…can’t wait to go back! Most of the Italian road network is knackered (worse than ours) so you'll have to use the toll motorways (autostrada or whatever they call it)
Diesel is expensive and confusing to buy with 2 prices at every garage.
The driving standard is unbelievably diabolical. They drive incompetently and aggressively as if they hate each other.
Don't go in any supermarkets, again - the customers hate each other.
They're the main points anyway fill up in France and just get through as quick as possible. If you get disheartened keep thinking about the approaching border and you'll soon be through it

Is that like Wales then? one price if you speak Italian and a higher price for the Foreigners ?Diesel is expensive and confusing to buy with 2 prices at every garage.
Not met many garage owners here that speak Italian....Is that like Wales then? one price if you speak Italian and a higher price for the Foreigners ?

Perhaps you should have tried your Italian
Some years ago I was in a packed local village pub next to a large campsite in the Brecon Beacons.
We were a small group of English people with one very obviously non English or Welsh person, as she was in a hijab.
Trying to get served at the bar was a nightmare, everyone else seemed to get served before me.
We eventually figured it out, it did not matter how big the crowd in front of the bar was, the pecking order was simple.
Those that ordered in Welsh got served first, even if they were 4 rows back from the bar.
Those that ordered in English but with a non English accent got served second,
and only when there were no more Welsh or Foreigners to serve, would they then serve the English.
Needless to say, our teetotal friend in the Hijab ordered every round in the pub for the week that we were there.
By the end of the week our multi-lingual friend in the Hijab was ordering pints in Welsh!Perhaps you should have tried your Italian
That's very similar basis for the spanish system of employment. Those that ordered in Welsh got served first, even if they were 4 rows back from the bar.

Bit bumpy on b roads wgen i went 3yrs agoDon't know what roads you used to pompeii, when we went it was fine, we used the toll motorway all the way down, no problems at all, roads very good.
We learnt very quickly not to try and play the Italians at their own driving game, as in hang around in the overtaking lanes, you are asking for trouble, over take rapidly then get back in the slow lane no problem.
This official online questionnaire might be useful. I went through it and it said providing I had had a negative test within 48 hours I could enter from France.Hi im travelling to croatia from france next wk i have my jabs anybody know of any probs i might have
Thanks that what i read, but trying to find if youve had both jabs you can travel like a lot of other countriesThis official online questionnaire might be useful. I went through it and it said providing I had had a negative test within 48 hours I could enter from France.
And I've been to Italy three times in recent years, the longest trip was to Sicily and we had a blast. Italian driving is hilarious providing you can keep out of their way. We will return once things settle down.
Pretty similar to the current government's system of employmentThat's very similar basis for the spanish system of employment.
1)Family
2)Relatives
3)family of those married in to the family
4)realtives of family married in to the family
5)neigbours, if spanish
6)family of neighbours
For the above; Any knowledge of what the job entails is not needed, nor any idea in the slightest of what you are meant to be doing or any possibility that you can actually do it.
7)spanish nationals.
The above might be asked if they have a clue what is involved.
8)Others ,including any qualified to do the job & holding armfuls of certificates & references from previous employments & the King of Spain
