Getting there owner since 2021
Eurotunnel booked, dog booked for jab and health certificate organised. We'll both have had another COVID booster soon, so that's ok too
What else do we need? I was looking for an idiots guide but can't find anything with the search function.

If it is your dogs first rabies jab, ensure there is 21 days between jab and travel

Passport? (you said idiots guide) ;)

Your passport has to be less than 10 years old, which I discovered recently! Mine had an extension of time over ten years, as I must’ve renewed early, so rather than having until July 23 to sort it, I had until September 22! So worth a check!

If you need EHU, an extra long cable may be needed at some locations in France

Which is why it's better to go on one of the Dover/Calais crossings (we go through the tunnel), as the crossing is shorter and you won't need your lead to be as long as you would if taking a different route ....:pinocchio:

Rather than a cumbersome long cable take a couple. I take a 25m and a 10m. Only rarely need to use two but have in France, Netherlands and on a CL in the UK. The 10m is the most used as usually post is close. Two pin adapter rarely needed but worth having, mine is only 6 inches long so takes up little space.
