We are driving down through France next week and will be crossing into Spain the following week. Has anyone done this recently, is there any restrictions or are we back to the normal Schengen rules?

Thanks
Nick.

Nick, I have battered my little brain senseless the last 24hrs trying to get my head around the UK/French requirements.

As far as I can be reasonably certain, France requires fully jabbed people to provide the Covid Cert/App, and the "on-my-honour" declaration to get IN, but don't then want to see anything when you leave.

They view the rest of Europe as "green" at present.

However, there are various versions of the "honour" form on their site, including forms for leaving France into either green or amber states. Might be worth having them to hand, just in case!

Bon Chance.

So we did it, tunnel into France, showed the bar codes that we had loaded into the Tous Anticovid app. Security check to ensure the gas was off, other than that straightforward. Four days travelling through France and crossed the Spanish border at Irun. On the motorway, completely open border, no checks of any sort.
