Can someone please show a list of whats required to enter Spain so i can ease wifes nerves. Getting conflicting information. We are double jabbed do we need tests?

We showed vaccine certificate and the statement on website printed off. Tell your wife not to worry at all, ferry felt very Covid safe, and we have had a lovely welcome in Spain , and it’s glorious sunshine, campsites seem very quiet

Lynne Roy

may I ask what sites you have visited so far in Spain, when you say quiet, do you mean loads of pitches left to choose from. Have you come across any sites closed yet?

cheers Allan

Our first stop was Camping de Haro , quiet in the week but very busy at weekend, we loved Haro and stayed 5 days then travelled across Spain staying on a few aires en route, 3 campsite in Palamos nine of them busy and that’s today. Our favourite Il Mateau in Montgo Bay has places but 60 euros a night, we won’t pay that, camping La Sirena L’Estartit replied today 44 euros a night and said not busy.

Go for it Simon, double jabbed is good for Spain, it was our first MoHo journey last year, between lockdowns, for 6 weeks and went 👍 great

Thanks Westbarn we are going nextweek. It has been a difficult couple of days ditching our France trip and organising Spain. Moved ferry to nextyear return tunnel omly moved to next may so will see how that goes and cancelled site in France lost £40 euros.

Reading back on this thread covid vaccination isnt required presumming you have both jabs. Thats how I understand it.

Our Scottish NHS Covid Certificates don’t have a QR code just the vaccination dates and our names
Is a QR code necessary
I would imagine so as this is what the hand held device reads, after saying that why would they supply the certificate without one if required??

Yes, print the certificate with QR code on the NHS app showing vaccinations, you can print it off or show straight from your phone

So, if we have our vaccination showing on the NHS app. We can go to a UK NHS Covid walk in/Drive through test centre and get a PCR Test, Spain will accept this?.

I only ask as we have the Indian Produced AZ Vaccine. Just thinking of doing a belt and braces.

No QR code on the Scottish version
They haven’t even introduced a downloadable QR code for smartphones up here

There are company's that you can book (maybe near you) that will do a PCR test on their premises and email results to you within 24 hours that are accepted by Spain, if walk through centres do the same I don't know.

Went to a local GP for Antigen Tests €40. Day 2 tests booked and paid for @£52 in THE uk.

Spanish Antigen tests checked over by EasyJet ground crew.

My passport would not scan at the auto booths at Manchester. So I was sent to a jobsworth who spoke to me like I was a suspect from the PLO. I swear I will get arrested at Manchester airport one day.

Anyway, no PLF checked or Antigen.

As mentioned on another subject we are going to Spain from Poland. It appears country's around here do not want us without a number of conditions, except Germany and France so that is the way we are going. A long way but hopefully worth it.We are both double jabbed and have the relevant documents. At this time (Aug.1st) is Spain open for holiday's?

I thought GERMANY AND FRANCE were the countries that do not want visitors? (especially from the UK)

No, no problems.
