Is this current? And at what stage does a child become an adult> 16 or 18?

Children under 12 don't need a test , anyone over 12yrs old need a test or be fully vaccinated

I think and hope so re current ! 18 I think is adult - we are hoping to ski with family this year - middle grandchild will be 14 and will have had a vaccination. The website has a lot more detailed info if you read onwards tho some is not updated

I used the same website .... and was :frowny::frowny: when I read you have to have a compelling reason to go but that is old info.
Kids fly out and use Bens Bus from Grenoble - they [Bens Bus not kids!] have a helpful and informative website ..

We are both vaxxed, but both my boys have serious special needs and jabbing them will likely require a heavy sedative or even general anaesthetic - I wish I was exaggerating!

We can probably test them though, so maybe we will get to Yerp next August!

Has there been any hints or suggestions that the UK will come off the French Amber list and onto their Green list? And what are the French Green list conditions?

Double vaccinated or tested for France . But if you want to do activities or eat out etc then pass sanitaire needed .
Our grandson will only have had one vaccination by October hols so not worth him coming as not much we can do or go .

Got back from France today!make sure you have clear copies of the pass sanitair as all restaurants etc check them even if eating outside as we did in Honfleur. The need for Lateral Flow tests are being dropped from this Monday but you will still need to arrange a CPR test until the Government drop This which it is rumoured to be doing! You need to fill in. Passenger Location Form within 48 hours of arrival in UK and the form is a little long winded. You can partially fill in and go back to it and complete!BUT don’t take any notice of anyone who tells you they are not being checked! All our forms were examined at check in for ferry!Luckily I had photos of all of them lined up on my iPad.

It's easy enough to download and populate the French app which worked fine for me, in English. Search on app store for TousAntiCovid.

We got back last Saturday and don’t have a pass sanitaire. The paper certificate of vaccinations is accepted everywhere.

There is some much time before next August that there is probably no point in worrying about it at the moment. I am sure rules will change many times before then
