Now reached the ripe old age of 80+ (With one heart attack two years ago and one stent) I have been looking at travel insurance.
First of all I asked for quotes for multiple trips , thinking I would take two in the year.. Most of the quotes seemed very high and were only up to about 30 days each trip. One of the sales agent suggested that I should look at single trips and found that taking two single trips was cheaper than one multiple quote and no limit on days away.
Many of the compare the market type of companies were between £1500 to over £4000 for multiple trips
Saga multiple trip £900+ 30 days limit
Saga single trip £475+ No days limit
Avanti single trip £278 No days limit
Very interested to see what other members use and roughly how much.
I think the quote was quite reasonable!
