hi just tried to renew with comfort but they no longer do travel insurance with house insurance been quoted 418 for me and wife but only 62 days anyone now of better with 90 days

We ended up with Staysure. Cost us £260 for 155 days at 71 & 68 years with a couple of minor existing medical conditions.
We fell lucky when we got ours last year as, at the bottom of the online application there was a " discount code " box so I quickly googled 'Staysure discount code' and got a valid code for 15% off.

Failing that, try the price comparison sites such as Go Compare or Moneysupermarket for Single trip insurance.

Nationwide flex plus account, £13 per month covers travel, MH breakdown in Europe and mobile phone. Can then take out 180 day cover for additional cost depending on medical conditions. We just bought 180 days £250 with no real issues Blood pressure and the like

Thanks for reply son in-laws now on case but still can’t find 90 cover

Try insure&go. I think we pay around £120 for both of us including winter sports and motorcycling. This is 90 days.

Nationwide also offer 90 days obviously this again would be chargeable. There standard is 60days

We researched high and low and could not find a 90 day cover basic policy. That is why we fell back on Nationwide, also needed over 3.5 ton breakdown cover so this account covered it
all

Thanks for reply will try again tommarowbut soon as you say age 70 all Changes

all

We paid Nationwide extra last year for 56 days, and have just had a quote for 42 days for 2019, so I think they only offer 30 days on the standard policy

Camping Club is 180 days and the basic cost is £104 per person, there will be additional costs depending upon your conditions, mine cost £9 extra but my wife’s was £650. Guess who is in Spain without the insurance to cover medical conditions. The medical screening is done in Capetown which was a surprise.

Have a look at this company they are pretty good(y)(y)

Indeed my error Nationwide 30 days. We also have a TSB bank account with travel insurance thrown in and that is 60 day. We do not rely on the TSB as I set the Nationwide account just for the breakdown cover for 4.5t MH and then took advantage of the 180 policy as it was cheaper than TSB.. Sorry for the b*m info.

Post Office travel insurance offers single-trip policies up to 365 days. I've no idea what it costs though.

Thanks every body got single trip 90 days for 207 for both of us so will do two single trips 5o for second trip only 21 days
