My husband and I are going to India in January [no not in the motorhome!] I am looking for good travel insurance. He had bowl cancer 10 years ago, still monitored but all clear so far. Undergone Prostate cancer treatment this year, Hormone therapy and radiotherapy. He is 72. A lot of online forms seem to ask the follow up questions in a manner which does not appear to follow the normal surveillance system and restrict time away to around 30 days outside Europe. We are thinking of going to the states next Autumn for a few months. With Brexit on the horizon we are considering annual insurance or single trip. Anyone any suggestions please. I am ringing Saga and may try a few of the other big ones. Thanks

We use Covered2Go. They use a seperate provider for the health questionnaire which gives you the option to add the extra cost to the basic policy. Cancer in our case was 7 years ago so we don't bother covering it as even if it reappears it's normally going to be symptoms only giving time to get home for the GP etc. as has happened to friends of ours. With prostate treatment this year it may be more prudent to take advice on cover. As said 30 days is the norm but you can pay for longer with Covered2Go as with most others I would think. Off the top of my head we paid £140 odd this year for Annual multi trip, Europe including cruise.
