Whats your preference for travel insurance, do you bother, is it worth it in a MH holiday ??

Obviously don't bother in the UK but always take it out when abroad.

If anything should happen to individuals or MH that can't be fixed when abroad it would cost a fortune to repatriate.

We have this company now and they are very competitive :
Onestop4 International Travel and Healthcare Limited £251 for max trip 120 days as many times a year as you can.

Yes always have travel insurance for taking the van to the continent, mainly for the medical cover. Risky to try relying on EHIC card, IMHO.

Reminds me, our annual policy needs renewing...

Also have European breakdown insurance, as part of vehicle insurance package.

We never bothered with travel insurance until last year. Whilst asleep on a campsite in the south of France I had a rather nasty heart attack. Was hospitalised for 12 days and had over £20000 worth of treatment. Never been ill in 68 years. Don't take the risk. My £127 outlay paid off.

We travelled with it last year and will do so again this year.

Been looking on GoCompare at policies from £20 to insure a family of 4. Are these policies worth it ?

Since 1996, had Elddis/Swift/Rapido/Rimor/Chausson MHs. Autocruise/Globecar PVCs/Compactline i-138
We have an annual policy with EHIC Plus which we've just renewed for £49, up to 45 days away at a time and no limit on the number of times each year.
