Cancel and change to someone else? You might find that they suddenly come up with a solution when you're on the phone to cancel.

I use More Than for the dogs and the cover includes foreign trips up to 60 days each.

Thanks. I might do that, if nothing else comes up.(y)
I was a bit miffed when they said 30 days it is and you cant extend for extra payment!

Be careful if you do cancel and change insurer - often the new company won't cover "pre existing defects" as in something you've previously claimed for.

It might be cheaper to take the gamble for the holiday that something g doesn't go wrong than have an exclusion for something you have currently got cover for "for ever" .

We no longer insure our dogs, due to their age the premiums were over £400 each so that's £800 a year - like all insurance, a gamble - we might be well out of pocket in 2 weeks time or might be quids in 5 years down the road...

Ive found an Insurance company that actually do dog travel insurance.
All others seem to be part of your existing policy.
The min. They do is 28 days cover for £19.50.
Which is cheaper than cancelling existing policy.
So I will start it when my existing 30 days run out(y)

I've just done a quote and for each of my dogs it's £17 (28 days), or £34 for 56 days, or a whopping £172 for a year! There's a minimum £59 excess per claim, still its not a bad price especially if only one dog needs insuring.
