Morning all, am having a problem on the boiler with hot water flow which seems to be returning back to the cold water header, had this problem on and off for a while . Does any one know if there is a non return valve built into the cold water flow within the boiler??
Thanks in anticipation
Nigel

You can buy a Speed Fitnin rerun valve to fit separately from the boiler if that helps - its15mm, but you could use reducers

Often a NRV installed in the pipework to the boiler, don't think there is one in the boiler.
You should be able to download the manual from the Trauma site it has an exploded parts view.

Thanks for the input, it's as I thought then no internal valve. Am down in Spain at the mo heading to Benidorm on Friday to Camping Almafra so will have a look in at the only place I've seen just up from camping Rocco unless any one know of any other place to go for one around Benidorm

Cold water header ?

Looks like a conventional boiler fed from the fresh water tank via the pump.

I wouldn't think the boiler pressure could push water through all the associated pipework and backward through the pump.
Once the water and boiler are up to pump pressure water can't backflow, if it did the pump would lose pressure and kick in again every time it stopped.

Thinking out loud...........

Gunged up tap, some of the cold water is being forced back down the hot inlet ??????????????

"pre-mixing taps" are not allowed in a home system but I think MH one do.
