Alpin Ranch at Zarnesti is like an upmarket CL. It's not grand and not huge. Its just really nice.
Rate per night inc EHU and other services was 60 LEI or €14.
Listed in Camperstop Europe it took us a while to find as a well meaning local used his initiative to direct us along a forest track to a motorcross meeting.
When we did arrive, rather anxious as it was near to dark, the greeting could not have been more welcoming.
The German/ Romanian couple are very friendly and helpful.
In the winter they accomodate snow lovers and the lower floor is set up for apres ski. We were invited to use the shower room and loo in that area as well as their stanless steel kitchen for washing our pots.
In the morning as soon as we opened the van door we were presented with coffee served on a long legged tray.
We have stayed on good sites and stop overs throughout this trip but felt Alpin ranch deserved to be shared with a wider audience.
