Hi folks.
Well, finally got the new to us 2005 Burstner elegance 821 home.
Gone to a hook up camp site to get used to him and found we have an intermittent clicking noise coming from or around the transformer box.
Any ideas please?
Ps the tap in the bathroom sink has stopped working on the pump. All others OK...possible cause? And how do you figure what fuse if it is that??

Waht make/model is the transformer box (Electroblock?). When you say intermittent, is that every minute or so, every second, or a couple of times a day? There are a number of relays in the distribution/fusebox that could be clicking. Does anything go on or off when it clicks?

Hopefully a picture attached.
We plugged in on Saturday and it seemed to start the following morning. Was just the morning for a hour roughly. Then nothing during the day. Today though it seems to be happening not all the time, but certainly its a lot longer now.
Is it possible to do with the solar system, as its bright and sunny?
And no apart from the sink tap all seems to be working OK,
And yes a novice sorry

Contrary to popular belief either switching system will work with either type of pump.

There's two general types of water systems, microswitch and pressure switch.

Microswitch systems have a switch in each tap, which switches on the pump when the tap is opened. The other type has a pressure switch. When the tap opens, the water pressure drops, and the pump switches on. When the tapis closed, the pressure builds up and switches the pump off. Usually microswitch systems have a submersible pump inside the tank, and pressure systems have an inline pump outside the tank. But as tonyidle says that ain't necessarily so.

A microswitch system will have a couple of wires going to each tap, and you might be able to hear a faint click as the microswitch trips.

The electrics box is a Reich E-box. The solar fuse isn't inserted, so I'd guess your solar controller goes straight to the leisure battery, not through the E-box. Can you tell if it's the E-box or the solar controller that's clicking?

Looking at the receipts and the solar box, yes it goes direct

Keep an eye on the condition of the contacts for the fridge 12 volt supply, I've had two sets burn out when driving with the fridge on 12 volts. First time was when we'd just got the van, eBox was replaced under warranty at quite a considerable cost apparently, second box went a couple of years later and Apuljak electronics repaired it for £350 on our '05 Burstner.

Got a clicking in our Pilote that comes from the electric connection box been told by Pilote that it is a component inside that is telling it that the battery needs charging going to be replaced under warranty might be worth checking with the dealer.
